Unified Digital Twin Chat
What is Unified Digital Twin Chat?
Unified Digital Twin Chat is a single interface for chatting with a digital twin built from any combination of your data. You name it, choose your data sources, select which studies to include, and start asking questions — all from one place.
Previously, different types of chat lived in different parts of the platform. Now it's one entry point regardless of whether you're talking to a single study, multiple studies, or drawing on the broader Panoplai Data Universe.
Setting up your digital twin
Name
Give your digital twin a descriptive name that reflects who it represents — for example, "Auto vertical — women 25-44" or "Brand tracker cross-wave Q1–Q3." This helps you identify it later.
Data sources
Toggle which data sources the digital twin should draw from:
- CDU (your organization's data) — your uploaded studies and documents. This is on by default.
- PDU (Panoplai Data Universe) — Panoplai's broader synthetic dataset, useful for enriching or extending your own data.
- Global (web search) — open web context, for general background or market context.
You can enable any combination. A digital twin drawing on CDU + PDU will answer from both your data and the wider universe.
Studies
From the Studies tab, select one or more studies from your library to include. Use the search bar or filter by tags to find what you need. You can select a single study, a handful of related ones, or your entire library — the digital twin will draw on everything you include.
How to use it
- Click Chat with Digital Twin in the top navigation.
- Give your digital twin a name.
- Toggle the data sources you want to include — CDU, PDU, Global, or any combination.
- Select studies from your library. Use search or tags to filter.
- Start your conversation. Ask in plain language — no special syntax required.
Example promptsSingle study
- "Summarize the top-line findings from this study in three sentences."
- "Which claims tested highest among 25–34 year olds?"
- "Where did scores diverge most between core and casual users?"
Multiple studies
- "How has brand consideration trended over the past four waves?"
- "Are there any metrics that have moved significantly in the last six months?"
- "How do our brand equity scores compare across our two target markets?"
CDU + PDU combined
- "How do our customers' attitudes compare to the broader category?"
- "What does the PDU tell us about segments we haven't directly studied?"
- "Where are the gaps between what our data shows and what the wider universe suggests?"
Good to know
- Unified Digital Twin Chat is included with paid subscriptions. There's no additional cost beyond your platform fee.
- You can include as many studies as you like. The more relevant data you include, the richer the answers.
- Named digital twins are saved, so you can return to the same configuration without setting it up again each time.
- You can also add documents (not just studies) from the Documents tab — useful for including briefs, reports, or other context files.
