PDU Explorer: See Everything Your Data Knows
What is PDU Explorer?
PDU Explorer is your window into everything your data knows. It shows you the composition of your own research (your Client Data Universe) alongside the Panoplai Data Universe — 200 million+ Q&A data points — so you can see exactly what audiences, topics, demographics, and insights are already available before you commission anything new.
The problem it solves
Years of valuable research tend to get scattered across disconnected studies and files, which makes it hard to know what you've already learned. At enterprise scale, that turns into real cost: teams end up commissioning research they've already run because there was no way to see what was there. PDU Explorer closes that gap.
How to use it
- Open PDU Explorer and describe the audience or topic you're interested in — for example, “males in Europe who like pizza.”
- Choose whether to search your own Client Data Universe, the full Panoplai Data Universe, or both.
- Review what's available: coverage by year, geography, topics, and sample sizes.
- Use what you find to scope a smaller, gap-filling study, build a Digital Twin, run a Simulation, or generate synthetic data with confidence.
Common use cases
- Discover existing research before commissioning something new
- Avoid duplicate research spend
- Understand the composition of your own audiences (e.g., gender or geographic skew)
- Identify knowledge gaps and plug them with a shorter, targeted study
- Explore competitor and industry data available in the Panoplai Data Universe
Good to know
