Launching to Your Own Participants
If you're using your own list or internal participants, Panoplai makes it easy to self-host your study while still capturing clean, validated data.
Step 1: Adjust Your Survey Settings for Self-Hosted Distribution
On the Build tab, click the gear icon in the top navigation bar. Under "For Self-Hosted Distribution," adjust the toggle based on your preference:

-
On – Each participant can only complete the survey once. If they attempt it again, their response will be marked as failed and flagged with a risk offense.
-
Off – Participants can complete the survey more than once (useful for internal pilots or iterative feedback rounds).
Then, for each open-ended question, click the gear icon and adjust the open-end setting:

-
-
On – Minimum character limits will be enforced. If a respondent doesn’t meet the minimum, their response will be flagged with a validation offense.
-
Off – Character requirements will be bypassed.
-
Step 2: Set Up Distribution
-
Go to “Get Data” and select “Launch to a New Audience”
-
Choose “My Own Audience”
-
Set the number of participants (enter 0 for unlimited responses)
-
Choose your country (or select Global if targeting multiple regions)
Step 3: Define Your Audience Profile
If you plan to include profiling or screener questions that aren’t already in the body of your survey, you have two options:
-
Select from existing Panoplai profiling templates
-
Write your own screener questions directly into your study
This helps ensure that you collect the right demographic or behavioral data alongside your core survey responses.
Step 4: Generate Your Link(s) and Launch
You can generate:
-
A single open link for broader distribution
-
A batch of single-use links for added control
Set your redirect URLs (if applicable), then click Launch. Your survey is now live — ready to collect responses from your own list
