Creating a Study from Scratch

Starting from scratch gives you full control over your study structure, flow, and question set.

How to create a new study:

  1. From your Panoplai dashboard, click “New Study.”

  2. Click "Create a Blank Study"

  3. Fill in the Study Title fields:
    1. Title: Give your study a clear, specific name. This is only visible internally, so make it easy for team members to understand the topic at a glance.
    2. Description: Provide a concise summary of your study’s purpose, methods, and goals. This informs Panoplai’s AI features by giving them context. Survey participants do not see this field.
    3. Category: Choose the category that best describes your study. This helps with internal organization and powers Panoplai’s contextual AI.
    4. Language: Set the primary language of your survey. You’ll have the option to add additional languages at launch.
    5. Analysis Language: Choose the language you'd like your open-end responses analyzed in. This won’t affect survey delivery but is key to how insights are processed.
    6. Tags: Add keywords to help you and your team filter and find studies easily. These are only used internally.

    Adding your survey questions:

Once you've filled in the Study Information, scroll down to "Questions" and you can start to build your survey. Start adding questions and apply logic as needed. You can always come back and edit later.

A clear study setup ensures your team can collaborate effectively and your AI tools can perform at their best.
