Concept Testing

The Concept Test is a question type that allows you to test multiple concepts within a single module.

Use it to present concepts monadically or sequentially and collect structured feedback for each one. Results are displayed side by side in charts for easy comparison.

Creating a Concept Test

In the survey builder, add the Concept Test question type.

This creates a dedicated concept testing module in your survey.

Setting Up a Concept Test

When building your Concept Test, you can:

  • Add introduction text at the top of the module

    • Toggle “Show introduction text once” if the intro should only appear once

  • Upload an image for each concept (optional)

  • Add a concept name

  • Add a description

  • Add additional concepts using the + Concept button

  • Reorder concepts as needed

  • Choose how many concepts to display per respondent (Displayed Concepts)
